BOULDER, CO, November 21, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ — Bolder Industries CEO, Tony Wibbeler, will speak on a panel at the 8th Scrap Tire Conference hosted by The Scrap Tire Research and Education Foundation, Inc. (STREF), the U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA), Michelin North America, and the South Carolina Department of Commerce being held December 4-5, 2019, in Greenville, SC. Mr. Wibbler’s panel will focus not only on Pyrolysis but on what can be reconfigured into products customers want as part of this process. His panel presentation will take place on December 4, 2019.

Mr. Wibbeler will be joined on the panel by Dave Abdallah, VP of Sales & Marketing, Delta-Energy Group, and Tom Redd, CEO, Pyrolyx USA, Inc. to discuss the use of pyrolysis presenting opportunities to extract materials inputs from tires and using the materials for other purposes, advancing a principle of circular economy; minimizing waste. The discussion will draw a focus on current pyrolysis technologies that exist and present an opportunity to hear from market experts about expansion and future growth prospects.
STREF is devoted to promoting economically viable and environmentally sound uses for scrap tires through conferences, workshops, and other focused venues. The non-profit organization, founded in 1992, operates in cooperation with the U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA) and was established to support basic and applied research and educational activities on the proper management and use of scrap tires.
This year’s conference, which is being co-sponsored by STREF, the S.C. Department of Commerce, Michelin, and the USTMA will focus on scrap tire markets in a sustainable, circular economy. The USTMA’s members have the goal that 100% of scrap tires enter sustainable end-use markets. USTMA began its scrap tire program in 1990 and the management of scrap tires has been a priority of its members for almost three decades.
