PORT ST. LUCIE, FL, October 14, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ — Beerworks Charitable Foundation serves more than beer at the annual River of Beers event this Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, at St. Lucie Trail Golf Club from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Guests will get to enjoy 12 rare beers paired with 12 chef-prepared tapas and a nightcap of either chocolates or a cigar. They will also get to vote on the best pairing, enjoy live music, and participate in a silent auction that includes fine jewelry. Tickets are $99 and are available at www.beerworks.org.
“This is the 10th anniversary of our signature River of Beers event. We drink beer and help those in need,” said Marc Boland, Chairman of Beerworks Charitable Foundation, Inc. “We have donated more than $100,000 to local charities and are excited to raise proceeds for the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast this weekend. Tickets are still available, but are going quick!”
Matt Webster, a participating brewer from Ocean Republic Brewing said, “I always look forward to this event. This year we went sour. Our brewery-release-only beer is a blood orange, strawberry, and Madagascar vanilla sour. It’s like a creamsicle in a glass.”
This year, River of Beers is sponsored by Waste Pro Port St. Lucie and tickets are still available at www.beerworks.org. The event will be held at the St. Lucie Trail Golf Club.
BeerWorks Charitable Foundation, Inc. hosts multiple events a year that focus on the education and enjoyment of a wide range of beers. Proceeds from all events benefit local charities. The fundraising events range from small VIP dinners to the new annual Brews, Blues, Bourbon, and BBQ festival in downtown Stuart, FL.
