The world-renowned ice cream brand will open a new location in California at 39626 10th Street West Palmdale, California 93551. The Grand Opening event will be on September 7, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Franchise owners Jeanie and Stuart Broce will lead the Palmdale location.

After working with the American Job Center of California, the Broce’s are excited to bring the legendary ice cream brand to Antelope Valley and hope to expand more job opportunities for individuals in the area. The owners look forward to building a business that will become a favorable gathering place for the local community.

The couple revealed their children introduced them to the Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream brand, motivating them to open their store.

Jeanie and Stuart Broce are proud parents of seven, and both work full-time. Jeanie has a background in education and dance instruction and is an event promoter in the dance competition arena. She also works as a flight attendant. Her husband Stuart is retired from the US military after serving 25 years in the United States Navy and Air Force. He currently works as a pilot.

Stuart and Jeanie have traveled the world extensively, working in the aviation industry, and tasted a lot of ice cream. They believe that Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream is genuinely the best in the world.

The Palmdale Handel’s boasts a 2,000 sq ft space and will feature 48 flavors available daily and over 150 flavors seasonally rotated into the menu., including sherbets and sorbet. The location will also offer pickup, delivery, and catering.

The Handel’s store in Palmdale will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Additionally, military veterans and uniformed first responders will receive discounts. The store is excited to collaborate with nearby elementary and high schools by offering reading incentives, teacher appreciation initiatives, and school fundraisers.
